Hello again, this been very long time since my last post. Currently i'm playing Dragon Nest INA and gain Top 15 in ladder match. I know that i'm not the best Guardian in game but i hope my tips can be usefull for you.
1.Preparing your Arsenal:
Since ladder is soft-caped PvP match where it's still depend on your equipment with some cap on some stats it's mean you have to look for most optimal equipment for ladder that not caped and still synergy with your class and playstyle.
Use cap level epic nest equipment (currently 50 cap level in INA) or epic equipment from ladder shop. I think equipment from ladder shop is better for guardian, because it give you more status resistant, HP, and most important Elemental defend.
Try to mix match the set bonus you gain from set equip. For Example, use Victor(level 50 Epic Ladder equip) Helmet,Armor,Lower,Gloves,and Shoes for +crit resist, +para resist, +stun resist, +HP, and +Elemental defend, avoid Victor Weapon and Secondary because it has +Final Damage bonus that caped in ladder, use Corrupted or Sea Dragon Weapon and secondary that gives +Dark Defend or +Vit that will be more potential for laddering.
I think Skill Accessories is more useful compared to Nest Accessories from nest for ladder, currently i'm using +Electric smite, +Armor Break, +Justice Crash, and +Conviction aura. Consider to use +Lightning Zap, +Aura of Healing, +Divine Punishment and +Elemental Aura as optional.
For Hidden Potential, use +Str,+Vit, and +HP for Helm,Armor,Lower,Gloves,Shoes,Earing, and Necklace or +ele defend if posible (very rare). Use +Light attack for Weapon,Secondary, and both Ring.
For skill plate use Stomping kick -AS, Half Turn Kick -AS, Electric Smite +damage, and Armor Break +duration, if you have extra slot consider to use Lightning Zap +damage, Provoke +Duration (for longer -para, and -crit debuff), Heal +heal rate, or/and God Within/Divine Avatar +duration.
And finally suffixes, currently i'm using Tent for Helmet, HP for Armor,Lower,Glover, and Shoes, and Restraint and Knight for Weapon and Secondary. Tent is used to reduce magic damage, cause high rating player in Dragon Nest usually Magic Based Damage Class, Like Electric Smite and zap from Paladin, Chilling mist and Fireball From Elemental Lord, and Laser Cutter from Smasher. Using HP because it synergies with your high HP pool, Knight and Restraint because you are the lowest class in game, these suffixes help you to solve that problem.
Try to test it. If you fell comfort than proceed to next step.
2.Skill Build
There's Thousand of skill build in internet, but few of them design for ladder.
In this section i'll show you a Skill Build for ladder that still good in PvE and PvP.

It's been so long since my last post here, and i found that there are some people open this link recently. And i dont want you to get lost by this old-dated post. so ill just update it a little.
i have long retired from Dragon Nest (about 1 years, maybe?). I did still play sometimes (just ladder or PvP, seriously, since i got to the cap level i never go to a single nest or dungeon anymore). And its up to you to read my advice or not (cause i might not as good as i used before retirement).
okay, lets stop this crap and just directly to the guide (for whomever still want to read).
Let's start with the equipment. I still prefer using something that boost your light attack (i dunno that jade's name), but old item also nice but only for the weapon and secondary (cause it wont give significant difference in ladder). But for armor, i suggest you to buy a new one cause it did make a significant difference in defend and HP. Armor set from ladder shop would be nice (it boost ur survive ability ).
You might think, "should i enhance my weapon, or enhance my armor?". From my experience, there's no use upgrading ur weapon for ladder (it wont give a lot of significance). So, i might just enhance my armor. Some jade for boosting ur vitality and mana also good. Mana? are sure? yeah, im sure. Mana is pain in the ass in ladder. It can help you to use more skill and spam ur aura.
Next, skill build, it might be the most troublesome part for most people (please dont say no -'-). Skill build was indeed important, but remember this, u shouldnt make a skill build that wasnt fit ur playstyle (cause it just gonna ruin it). So try to consider, did u go into PvP, PvE, or both of them, what ever u choose, it have to fit your playstyle. A good tips here, dont spent SP on skill that doesnt really usefull, or u cant use it perfectly. For example, Electric Smite does make a devastating damage, but it's hard to land. Why dont u just max ur Lightning Zap which just deal moderate damage but hit much more often?. I didnt say that Electric Smite was useless, it was useful but for player who can use it properly and its just and example anyway. I mean, what's the point of having a Gatling gun, but none of the bullet hits the enemy, while u can use a desert eagle and make an easy headshot with it?? Try to think about it!
Next, Use all ur skill into its very maximum potential. Guardian is a good tank, but it lack of speed. We might screwed by those mobile class. In this case, Divine Judgement works great. It seems useless in the paper, but its not! It deal nice damage to enemies if they keep on attacking u, or at least it will give u a space to take a breath if they wont attack u when they see the buff, use this space to be more offensive.
Another case, did u know there are 5 ways executing Justice Crash (as far as i know)? the most common way, is the simple SPACE + SPACE (no iframe), or use quick slot (Iframe) in random way. Now ill tell u the other way,
1. When jumping, execute the Justice Crash with SPACE right before you land from jumping, the timing must be precisely right! it will trigger the damage and the stun immidiately and its unavoidable! It might need some practice, but it will work greatly when fighting fellow paladin or warrior.
2. When jumping, execute the Justice Crash with SPACE right on enemy's head. It will tiger the stun immidiately, even before u hit the ground. It's good for chasing sorcerer and archer class.
3. The last, its only work for Elemental Lord as far as i ever use. When they use frost wind, right when the very first damage hit u, execute the justice crash from the quick slot. It will bypass the skill animation by 50%-80% and will make it unavoidable!

Justice Crash is one of (if not the most) the most influental skill in guardian playstyle. Master it, and u master the Guardian.
